New lower studio pricing for 2009

Super new low prices!
After much haggling with my business partner [aka Shirley the Queen], I was able to set a new and incredible low studio rental price of [insert dramatic pause] just $20 an hour for our lowest rental price.

We have also created a couple of new pricing structures, with and without lighting pricing and are now offering student discounts.

Want 2 free hours?
New also for 2009 is a customer reward program. For our first reward program we are offering 2 free hours to any client renting 24 hours in total rental hours over the next 6 months.

Be sure to review all the pricing changes on our photography studio rental page.

Studiolighting.net – David Griffin – Magazine Shoot

Hey All (all 3 of you)! Our good friend, David Griffin, has just published his latest work on StudioLighting.net and what do you know… he has very nicely given our studio a plug in the article.

Recently, I was on a shoot at the infamous Smash Photo Lab in Long Beach CA just to keep up my “chops” and practice some new theories I had about hard light. When I was done “Mr. Cool” himself (Bill Shutt – Owner of Smash Photo Lab) told us we should check out this little hole in the wall hut that had recently been erected on some abandoned property.

*David likes to refer to us as Smash Photo Lab. Keep giving us press like this and you can call me Bubba too.

Well after all, I did tell him about the shack he used for the location, I should get at least a pat on the back for my contribution to the shoot. Since Davids’ shoot, I was able to get in one more shoot at the location but unfortunately it was closed down shortly after that.

Great work David and huge thank you from myself and Shirley.

One more time – go read the article and checkout David Griffins other photography work.

Client area update

In order to simplify our client proofing process we have made some small changes.

  • All galleries are now accessed with a personal access code
  • Access code can be entered either on the main proof page or from the access code page
  • All galleries are private
  • Account registration page now includes user address information fields

We think these simple but important changes will help improve your experience while browsing your photo galleries from your photo shoot. If you have any questions or comments please contact us and we will be happy to answer any and all your needs.

Tell us what you think

Reviews – if you are working at the 9 to 5 and your boss tells you, “it’s time for your review Bill,” you may or may not be happy about it.

NOT US! When it comes to reviews we always get happy. We want to know how we are doing or better yet what you liked about our studio. Many of you leave our studio and often praise us for our work, or thank us for having such a great setup for rent at our photo studio. And we appreciate all of that, but now its time to let the rest of the world know too.
