An Introduction to Studio Lighting, a 2 hour basic lighting workshop covering some easy to use lighting techniques using professional studio equipment. This class will be the taught by two instructors; Bill Schutt/Smash Photo and David Griffin/David Griffin Photography
Topics to be discussed
- Constant lighting and strobe lighting
- Proper equipment setup
- Choosing a light modifier [softboxes, umbrellas, octoboxes, grids, barndoors and more]
- Reading a light meter
- White Balance
- ISO, Aperature, Shutterspeed, Focus Point
and a few other random bits of useful information
By the end of the workshop you will be able to walk into most any studio situation and be able to shoot away with confidence.
